A Program for Winning Women into Mathematics
Administered by the Mathematical Association of America

"How will I ever use mathematics?" WAM role models give support for teachers, counselors, parents, and curricular specialists in answering this question. WAM provides career materials and brings them alive for students in hands-on workshops, classroom visits, and programs on mathematics and/or career options.

The consultants of WAM are available for career exploration with any group of students. They are a resource for clubs or organizations, career and college fairs, Mathematics Awareness Week activities, Expanding Your Horizons Conferences, and Association for Women in Mathematics Sonya Kovalevsky Days. WAM arranges programs for teachers, guidance counselors, PTA's and other parent and community groups.
