As we have yet to find a good genealogy program that runs under Linux, we are using Family Tree Maker to record our family trees.

Information on Gabe's family has been easy to find. Not only is he a descendant of John and Priscilla Alden of Mayflower fame, but his aunt published a Family Tree Book on their branch of the family.

Information on my side of the family has been much harder to locate. As if searching for ancestors with a very common surname wasn't bad enough, I have been unable to locate any written information on my grandfather.

Any help locating information about the following people will be greatly appreciated:

• Alexander Davis (B: September 6, 1860; D: September 7, 1941)
  
• Mary Jane Fisher (B: unknown; D: unknown)
  
• Bessie Skinner (B: January 11, 1894 ; D: April 3, 1951)
