Sizing Information

55 inches long (65 inches counting the fringe) by 6 inches wide,

Gauge: 4" swatch = 26 stitches and 14 rows


Materials

  • COLOR A (Caron Simply Soft (Plum Wine (less than 1 skein))
  • COLOR B (Caron Simply Soft (Orchid) (less than 1 skein))
  • COLOR C (Caron Simply Soft (Blue) (less than 1 skein))
  • Size 8 (5mm) knitting needles
  • Yarn needle or large darning needle


Instructions

Body of Scarf

  • Cast on 175 stitches with COLOR A. Knit 6 rows.
  • Change to COLOR B and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR C and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR B and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR A and knit 6 rows.
  • Change to COLOR C and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR B and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR C and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR A and knit 6 rows.
  • Change to COLOR B and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR C and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR B and knit 2 rows.
  • Change to COLOR A and knit 6 rows.
  • Bind off in COLOR A
  • Weave in your ends with a yarn needle or large darning needle

Fringe

  • There are 6 tassles on each end of the scarf.
  • Each tassle is 6 strands each of COLOR A, COLOR B, and COLOR C.
  • Place tassles evenly across the end of the scarf.
  • Repeat the above steps on the other end.

  • Cast on 175 stitches with COLOR A
  • Row 1-6: Knit with COLOR A
  • Row 7-8: Knit with COLOR B
  • Row 9-10: Knit with COLOR C
