She Who Must Be Obeyed

Sampson is a lion cub. He's hungry.
[SIMPLIX]

When I'm not working for Simplix, a company that is trying to streamline government purchasing by making electronic data interchange simple, I can usually be found in my garden, doing something with a computer, or reading.

My favorite books are murder mysteries, but I also read books on gardening, home repair, woodworking, or any other topic that catches my interest.

Gabe and I have discovered that listening to recorded books is good way to make long car trips more endurable. Lilian Jackson Braun's The Cat Who... books are quite enjoyable, as are Jane Langton's Homer Kelly mysteries and anything by Sharyn McCrumb. We're recently finished listening to Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Sometimes, when I'm not messing around with one of my various computers, I play with my digital camera. If you are interested, you can visit my on-line photo gallery.

In our spare time, my husband and I run a public access computer system in Royal Oak, Michigan.

We are also remodeling our house.

And tracing our ancestors.

I'll get more information here as time allows.
